Zoe’s only helpers were the mayor, Lavon Hayes ho is former football player, Wade Kinsella, her neighbour and handsome lawyer, George Tucker. Zoe wants to leave the town as soon as possible but she restrained when her mother visit the town.

During February, 2011 TV Line said Rachel Bilson is approaching to star in the series for new deal. But she was fixed for the show later. After casting her Wilson Bethel was appointed to give his role for Wade Kinsella, Zoe’s gorgeous boy neighbour. After that Scott Porter was called for the role of lawyer, George Tucker. Later in May, 2011 Nancy Travis said she won’t be able to continue with them as she has committed to the 20th Century Fox. Zoe’s mother, Candice Hart’s role was played by JoBeth Williams.
